It is the policy of First Baptist Church that during inclement weather, the Pastor and Ministerial Staff will confer about whether or not to cancel a scheduled church activity. Such calls should be made at least three (3) hours prior to services or the event. The Ministerial Staff and Secretary will update the message on the church phone voice mail, ensure that any schedule change is listed on local TV stations (KARK-7, KATV-4, KTHV-11, and Fox 16), and post updates on Facebook and Remind.

The same process will be used for closing decisions made during the week, although we will follow the Pine Bluff School Districts Weather Policy. If school was dismissed due to weather, ALL church activities will be cancelled.
