Welcome to the Student Ministry of First Baptist Church! 

The goal of the Student Ministry is to introduce youth to Jesus Christ and help them develop Christ-like character in their lives.  We accomplish this through teaching God’s word, involving the young people in fun and interactive activities, and showing unconditional love to every one of them.  We desire for each youth to connect with God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, to connect with others through relationships with other youth and the loving adults who care for them, and to connect others with God as we reach out beyond our church body to serve our community.  

We are excited to be a part of a growing ministry that impacts the lives of youth and their families!   The rewards are eternal.

Sunday School - Each Sunday morning at 9:30, we offer a class where the youth can connect and fellowship with other youth while adult workers teach Biblical truth in a fun and nurturing environment.

Wednesday Night Bible Study - Each Wednesday evening from 6:30 – 7:30 in the Youth Room in the Family Ministry Center, we gather to study God’s Word and fellowship with each other.  The youth learn relevant, biblical truth that will help them grow closer to God and will challenge them to serve Christ daily.

Other Activities – The youth engage in fun activities periodically, such as paintball, lock-ins, softball, etc.
