The Music Ministry at First Baptist Church exists for the same reason the church exists – to worship God, to edify each other, and to evangelize a lost world.  We try to do this using a variety of musical styles and genres.

We believe that sacred music is a sacrificial act of worship and is not performed for the entertainment of men, but is offered up to a holy God.  Old Testament sacrifices were required of God to be the very best quality – the unblemished animal.  So we believe that our very best is also required of us in this ministry.  Our motto is, Excellence in all things, and all things to the glory of God.
